WHO WE ARE

Good News Fellowship

We are a multicultural and intergenerational bible believing church. We have our roots in Christchurch, New Zealand. Our church was birthed by the vision as below:

"…trees with their branches reaching up to the sky…and then torrents of rain pouring down upon the earth, Malaysian earth. For as God’s people lift up their hands and their praises ascend to heaven, the Lord will pour out His Spirit on Malaysia. "

40 years later in 2019, we have grown into a movement with a network of over 23 churches and more than 25 outreaches across Sarawak.

We Believe

Our Vision and Mission

Spirit - Filled

We are a Spirit - Filled church, empowered by the infilling of the Holy Spirit and rooted in the word of God.


Acts 1: 8
"...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you..."

Worship - Centred

We are a Worship - Centred church, called to love and exalt the Lord in praise, worship and prayer.


John 4: 23
"...the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth..."

Kingdom - Building

We are a Kingdom - Building church, committed to serve the community and grow the kingdom of God together with the body of Christ.


Matthew 6: 10
"Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

Our Mission

To love God and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples and advancing the Kingdom of God.
